Seville is an excellent starting point for organizing excursions in the western half of Andalusia. If you have already been able to visit the city and have a few days left to discover the region, here are some suggestions within a 2-3 hour distance of Seville.
As you can see, there are plenty of options, from monumental cities to the sierra, beaches and even ski slopes... Some excursions can be done by train or bus and others by car. By the way, if you need to rent a car, you can read my article: Renting a car in Seville.
It's up to you to choose!

The Andalusian coast is one of the most beautiful in Spain, with long beaches bathed in sunlight. The closest beaches from Seville are those of Huelva and the south of Portugal, Cadiz and Malaga.
THE SIERRA NEVADA
If you come to Seville between December and mid-March, you can take the opportunity to go skiing in the most southern and sunny station in Europe. More than 100 km of slopes, with views of the Mediterranean Sea and the African coast from the top.

DOÑANA NATIONAL PARK
If you love nature and birds, I recommend you to visit the Doñana Park, only 60 km south of Seville. It is the largest national park in Spain and one of the most important natural areas in Europe.
The park has been declared a Biosphere Reserve and a World Heritage Site, among other reasons for its ornithological diversity, as it is an obligatory stopover on the migration routes of Asian and African species.
This park is also a refuge for species in danger of extinction, such as the imperial eagle or the Iberian lynx.
You can visit the park on foot, using one of the trails that connect the five visitor centers. There are also many options for exploring the park by bicycle, horseback, all-terrain vehicle or boat.
From Seville you can also go to Portugal, only 1h30 from Seville.
And yes, I am talking about Morocco, which is in Africa! Tangier is only 3 hours from Seville: 2 hours by car to Tarifa and 30 minutes by fast ferry to Tangier. If you have never been to Morocco, this can be a great opportunity to live a completely different experience.
